Hooke’s joint

Double Cardan joint
The Double Cardan joint is a type of CV joint. This type of joint transmits torque from a drive shaft to a driven shaft, and it exhibits good stability, low vibration, and low inertia. The Double Cardan joint offers smooth operation at higher operating angles than single cardan joints. But this type of joint is sensitive to ride height changes. Every inch increase in ride height changes the angle of the double cardan joint and the lower u-joint. For this reason, you may have to compromise between the two angles for a smooth operation.
